Although I am middle aged, it reminds me of my demanding father. When I was a kid, he expected perfection, and he could make me cry by saying those words.

get a blank look on your face and ask them "why are you disappointed"? Listen to them and then say "oh ok" and walk away. They gave you their opinion...you don't have to agree with it....you don't even have to consider it...but if you do think they have a valid reason then you might want to think of how you can change that flaw so the matter won't come up again, and only if you care about them and respect their opinion.

It depends on who is saying to me. If they are someone that I respect, maybe I need to listen to them and find out what I have done to disappoint them. It really depends are who they are and why they are saying it.

I don't care because I did what I did and I'm sure there was a reasonable explanation for my actions. Nobody guilt trips me.

I think of it as I didn't meet the expectation(s) someone had for me because of my own doing.

Depends.... If I don't think so then I feel mostly nothing... But if I did, then I feel bad and humiliated
