What is hot now may not be hot in a few years. However, doing business in China is likely to be a market that many industries are targeting, including accounting. It seems that whether the economy is strong or weak there is a need for good accountants. Understanding a foreign language is certainly a plus. Studying abroad also has it's appeal with the larger firms.
