Energy knows no borders so there is no reason the spell wouldn't work.

But do your own spells - don't pay someone else to do them for you as it won't work as intended. They are most effective when you make them yourself. Of course, this requires patience, concentration and dedication but then shouldn't anything spiritual?

It depends on how attune you are with the person or country. I would advise you NEVER to cast a spell in an attempt to interfer with the life of another. It tells the universe you are okay with letting that occur back to you.

1) I doubt she was killed by Avada Kedavra. Albus Dumbldore wouldn't try to kill anyone, would he? No, not intentionally, but he was stupid and young, and got caught up in egotistical nonsense. JK had to make Dumbledore have some faults or he would just be another 2d character. He can't be perfect. He wouldn't try to stop the fight by killing someone, would he? I don't think he tried to stop the fight, I think Just what happened as said, that Ariana got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, during the fight. If he did kill Ariana, with Avada Kedavra, why did he cast Avada Kedavra in that room? Don't think he used Avada Kedavra, personally, it wouldn't make sense. I don't think we are meant to know who killed her. I think in some circumstances there is no end. I think we are meant to understand that she could have been killed by Dumbledore, or she may not have. Even if she wasn't killed by him, it doesn't matter, as there is no way for Dumbledore to prove it, therefore in Dumbledore's mind he will always feel responsible. And if he feels responsible, I don't think it matters if he killed his sister or not, he certainly contributed to it either way. I am glad this aspect of the story exists, personally.

Considering the state of our world - it has been unsuccessful so far. Never stop sending positive energies, they work.
