I have read the instructions, and gone through the installation process, and it says I'm ready to begin. But I don't know how to open the connection.

I have all the hardware installed as well as the software, everything is set up and is correct. I just need to know how to open the connection.

You need to have a NIC card in your pc. It has a jack that looks like a phone jack but is wider. There should be an included network cable (sometimes yellow,blue or black) that goes from the Cable modem to your computer. Once thats connected, your PC should get an IP address and you should be able to click on your browser and be online. You don't need to sign on or anything like dial-up. Also, you should install Firefox and use that if you don't have it already...

I am a little shocked at the fact that you say you switched to Roadrunner and they didn't come out and supply you with there Cable Modem and connect it up for you and furnish you with your Username and the Password they assigned you. Call them and have them come out and get you up and going. Or call them and have them Walk you through it.

u should call them i had to have someone from road runner come out make phone calls and type stuff into my computer
