I sent my dvd-recorder to service as it is spoilt. Once it has been repaired, can i still use it to finalise my dvd-r?

I used this dvd-recorder to record tv shows using dvd-r, but I did not finalise them. I am worried that it cannot be finalise and the tv programs recorded in it will be wasted.

Hi Youngfellow,

I hate to tell you but your chances of being able to finalize are small. It depends on what the repair requires.

I wish I could help you more.

Of course. Finalization is a final step to create a table of contents for your DVD. If your DVD-R is working properly there should be no problem finalizing your discs.
