I am British and I have no problem with any Americans. In fact I consider the United States to be a great asset to western democracies as a whole. The dollar and human cost defending our values and spreading democracy where tyranny reigned, is unmatched by all European democracies together. The reason the USA is unpopular in our country at the moment is simply due to the leftist media's skewed reporting of events. Mostly it is our lesser educated people ,that feel a need to belong to a trend as opposed to evaluating the situation ,that are most vocal. Many of my compatriots that are quick to condemn the actions and values of the United States, should be careful what they wish for.I would rather be Airstrip 1 than Tehran 2.

Hello, hate or disagree about there polices, Do you hate the British Government as individual people. Hate is a strong word detest is a bit more rational. If you hate it can burn away all logic and when this occurs what then? A change in your own personality, you become whom what your are not. Then maybe commit atrocities as we see of today.

forgivness is a part of this alsoactualy i think this is a vitaly inportant question, and should be asked again on religious section some time.the actions of our gov over many years nowhave been hateful and caused greatsuffering for many, some have even taken their own lives as aresult of oppresiv gov tatics, their is an answe i believe is this "Hate the sin but not the sinner" "righteous anger, is fine unrighteous anger is not, oppose the oppressor with strong words against them, defend your position by what ever means, but kerb personal hatered, it rises its ugly head in our hearts sometime, but it can be crushed, though the gov
ensight hatred in a very crafty way, and one may say they deserve it, but no, this is why god says "vengeance is mine i will repay" its hard to find the words of opposition that are strong and powerful without sounding hateful.forgiveness is a
part of this also, this is equaly hard when one knows they are
betraying ones country.

It is wrong, Sir, to hate the institution of government as a matter of anarchical principle, but to hate them for some specific crime would obviously be justified.

No - one of the great things about this country is that we have freedom of speech, you can believe what you want about the government. You can also vote to change the government, that is also a great privilege and is something every one should do.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with the British government, and to hate anyone is wrong. Don't hate, it makes life a lot better.

Hating anyone or anything just makes you miserable and destroys your spirit. It doesn't hurt any government if we hate it, so just go with the flow and concentrate on something you love....
