Do you Americans like big noises?

Inspired by someones answer to one of my questions.

Not all Americans. I prefer quiet and peaceful in all things. Many of us do.

It's rather hard to stereotype everyone in any society. It's like saying all English love the symphony. I'm going to say there are some who do, and some who don't. Same as anywhere else.

I,m English and have known plenty of Americans and the simply answer is that in general yes u are but not all. I know plenty of LOUD English people too!!!

I'm English, I love loud music, but I'm generally quiet...
The only time I notice Brits being excessively loud is when they are holidaying where a foreign language is spoken...
Or when they are female and greeting other females...
Oh God! that shriek they do!
Don't know about the Americans though.

Some Americans are louder than others, but my friend Tony is a Brit and he is the loudest human being I have ever encountered.

No. Go to Fratton Park this Wednesday and watch Pompey v Man U. You won't get much louder than that.

yes in a recent survey americans were voted only the second loudest 1st were the germans.

I'm American but I have been to England and I would have to say yes.....the Germans are very quiet also as compared to us.

It's not my place to say =] But i'm English and I like loud Music, but i'm not loud personally, like, when speaking, if you get what i mean.

I would not necessarily say louder, but they do appear to be more polite.
