I don't quite believe that, dear. With some of the great questions you ask, I think you have a very firm grasp of the meaning of life. Having a sense of humour, for one.
EDIT: I'VE JUST READ YOUR PROFILE FOR THE FIRST TIME. I LOVE YOUR SLANT ON THINGS.

Yes, but I'm not sure were meant to understand it, but just go with it.
I find it hard to understand how some people seem to float through life without a care in the world and yet there are others who really struggle and get lost along the way, what's that all about?

I do find it hard to understand, or at least make sense of. It makes me think of my dear departed Irish Gran. She gave me a bit o the advice when I was a mere laddie. I came in from school one afternoon disturbed about some crazy bit of happenstance that had taken place that was quite beyond my comprehension. I said, "Gran, why is life so crazy!?!", to which she replied; smiling and gentle as she always was, " My darling lad, when you understand the crazy life.... you're crazy, so use that as a guidepost that by not knowing....you're on the right track, the one that's right for you.", and then she gave me a butter scone and a cup of calico tea. Ah life, such a sweet mystery at every turn, seldom fair but always interesting and sometimes entertaining!

How the Mind lingers
How the mind may linger when there is no hope, reality in all its doses overcomes the power of sanity and takes you through to the hellish bounds where the wishful thinking of agony can be seen as glimpses of false hope. Like the prophet who muses of upcoming good fortune knowing only to well that all must die in the end it is the nature of things.

No, a great volume of it somewhat is an act to get the unit to artwork as a collection and against Drill instructors. they do no longer look to be their to be your chum. All Drill instructors and RDCs are from the Fleet or some battalion and that they're going to pass back there after their excursion at boot camp is over and that they're going to exchange into time-honored infantrymen and sailors.

The longer I live, the less I understand about the world and the people in it. I just have to focus on knowing myself and try to be the best that I can.

Yeah, it's hard to understand...
I'm sure I'll never get it and though it would probably be nice to understand it, I don't think I want to...
Much rather just traipse along in my own little world.
