Umm. Definitely false. Drugs may or may not lead to an overall decay of individuals who engage in drug use, but nuclear weapons are far more dangerous as they potentially lead to the annihilation of society altogether.

Drugs are extremely dangerous to our society. Both legal and illegal drugs pose a threat. Not long ago, there was a piece on "The Today Show" that covered the huge amount of Americans on Anti-depressants. These are being prescribed for many people who really don't need them. Mild depression - work through it, you don't need drugs. Some of those anti-depressants cause high blood pressure, hense the need for yet more pills. Those on anti depressants are likely not at the top of their "mental game" due to the drugs making them "happy." These are executives, doctors, truck drivers, etc making decisions that affect a lot of people every day.
The effect of illegal drugs is much more universally recognized. They cause huge amounts of crime. They ruin many young lives from stupid decisions. They can fry the minds of our young so that they will never have the potential that they once might have. Many, many other adverse side effects of illegal drugs.

Drugs have been with us since humanity gained consciousness. Mind altering substances are used by just about everyone on earth, just about every day. Drugs are the cause of many societal problems, but problematic drug use (i.e. use of illegal drugs and the associated crime that goes to fund addiction, or addiction to alcohol etc) are very definately in the minority. A drug problem is a very curable problem.
Nuclear weapons could destroy all life on the planet several times over. They give countries the idea that they can cajole and bully everyone who doesn't have them. They make people do incredibly irrational things (like make more of them). Nuclear weapons are the single most dangerous thing humanity has ever, or will ever, face. Addiction to power is unsolvable as long as nuclear weapons exist.

Drugs are a economic viable product. Aspirin is a great drug that is still helping millions. But the new stuff that has come out is ridiculous. If you are feeling mad sad happy they have something to change it back to one or the other. I think the Romans used to call it Flem. You were not supposed to have too much of one thing. That's why you spit it out. I think people have been tricked into believing that they need all these drugs. Anyway have a good day take time to speak with your neighbor face to face it will do you good.

no.
bombs kill people. they are meant for destruction.
some drugs are very deadly and some are not. the fact that they are illegal adds to why people abuse them. some drugs are just as safe and as dangerous as caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol. our society is pretty strong and we lived for years with legal cocaine and marijuana.
governement has no place banning things just because they are harmful to people if they choose to use them. drugs that cause you to be a threat to others should be banned for that reason. drugs that only injure one's person or property should be left alone.
