What video card can i get that's better than the one i have now?

i have ati radeon 9250 agp. It's an okay video card, but i would want to get a better one. My computer is 6 year's so i don't really to buy a expensive ones. I want to get an agp video card that's good enough for gamings, because my radeon 9250 isn't that good for some games. The brand can be ati or geforce doesn't matter for me. Plz help thank you

Go to a compouter shop and discuss your wants with someone that works there, or search the internet for video cards.

Despite what every manufacturer, publication and advert wants to make you believe, AGP is not dead. Almost all of my friends and family still use AGP, much to their dismay, as when they are looking to me for an free upgrade, all I have is PCI Express cards to hand out.
That said, the X1950 XT is simply the most powerful card ever to grace the AGP bus. This card has no direct competition; in fact, its closest competition is its X1950 PRO AGP sibling, which is much less powerful.

The price of $260 is a bit of a tough pill to swallow for a dying interface. I would only recommend the X1950 XT AGP to someone with a very fast AGP system who already has a power supply with enough juice to handle it.

It must be noted that if you have $260 to spend on an AGP card - and possibly an extra $100 for a power supply that can handle it - you might be much better off purchasing a PCI Express motherboard, CPU and PCIe video card.

Better option = 7300GT AGP or 7600GS AGP
Awesome= ATI X1950 Pro AGP or Geforce 7950GT AGP.
