Is Pb(C2H3O2) ... Plumbum acetate....


BALANCING....
Ba(OH)2 + CO2 ------->BaCO3 + H2O
=WHAT????????


im always confuse what haappens to OH bcoz it turns to H2O
is this right..

2Ba(OH)2 + 3CO2 ------->2BaCO3 + H2O

but O of H2O is not balance w/ O of OH..
How do you make it simpler????

1) lead (II) acetate.

2) the unbalanced eqn u cited itself is balanced buddy.

1. lead(II) ethanoate (or acetate).
2. your first, unbalanced equation is correct. Don't forget that the 3 at the end of BaCO3 refers to the O only, and not the C.
