im 4 months pregnant and i was a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding on Friday and during the evening i did a lot of dancing, i thought if i can't drink im still going to have fun. I did take breaks when i felt a bit tired and i did get a twinge at one time which i think may have been my body telling me to take a break which i did. I dont think i did anything too exhausting but i did bop about a bit. Since saturday i have been stricken with worry , what if i hurt the baby, what if i have give them brain damage or broke their limbs, what if they are not alive anymore. I know im probably being totally over the top but i can't stop panicing : (
any advise

You wouldnt have harmed the baby. Exercise is encouraged in pregnancy up untilt he bitter end. And believe me, the end can be quite bitter!LOL, kidding. Its just (for me anyway, very uncomfortable~) Look at Paula Radcliffe who was running when she was pregnant. They really only discourage things like Skiing, horse riding ect, go down tot he local library and get some books out which will also help. You would have done you and the baby a world of good in dancing, so relax.x

It's wonderful you are concerned about your baby, but I assure you that your baby is fine.

Being active during pregnancy is recommened, including dancing! If you are worried, call your doctor and ask to see him for a listen to the heart beat. I'm sure soon you'll feel the baby kicking and your fears will be a thing of the past, and to be replaced with new fears! Motherhood does funny things to your normal relaxed self

If women can still go to the gym, jog, swim, work, cook, clean etc... then a little dancing and exercise is probably good for you when pregnant! If you were 9mths I would probably have told you to sit down so you didn't break your waters, but at 4mths, dance, sing, do a little bop! Have fun! Stop panicking, but if anything bothers you then mention it to your doc.

Good luck and congrats!

I am sure that the baby is fine! Exercise is great for the baby. The baby can handle a lot of bopping in the belly without she/he being harmed.

Your fine, your baby is fine! Your baby is encased in a sac of water that absorbs most of the shocks. Its also protected by your abdominal muscles. If your really super worried, call and talk to your doctor!

Hi dont worry about it. You did the right thing by resting when your body told you to.
Well done for being alcohol free as well.

I am sure that you are fine; bodies are very robust. You have in any event passed the "first trimester"

Check with your doctor if you are worried.

Best of love!
