Where did the universe come from? Don't tell me god created it cause I don't believe in any of that. I understand how the planets and sun came to be. But what are some theorys on when and how the universe even came into existance?

There are two separate frames of reference to look at as far as how the Universe was constructed into the architecture that we are observing it.
One view is based on a solution of Einstein's General relativity Field equations, which boils down the Mass of the Universe into a singularity. This implies that the mass structure of the Universe was born out of the Inside of the Volume of Space. This view of the Creation of the Universe is called the Big Bang theory.

The other obsersvation point would be that the Universe was not Created out of a singularity as outlined in the Big Bang theory .
But rather from the outside of the Geometrical volume of the space containment.
Out of the substance of space from the outside of this particular volume of space was twisted into a formation basic micromass structures, Which the Biblical record calls Light as being the first mass structure. And out of light was formed all other mass structures of the Universe.
I am more convinced to take the View from the frame of reference that the Universe was constructed from the Outside rather than the Inside.

The Biblical record of Creation outlined in Genesis chapter one verse one,Indicates that The substance of the Heavens(high Waters in the Hebrew language) was created and constructed into a space structure, and then the substance of the Earth (mass Structure)was created as well; the both together forming a Contained Universe, with the Earth being the Main Attraction.
Time inside the Universe is a quantity that tell us how fast a Phenomenon(process) takes place.
The process of Creation took place in a time a lot shorter time than we can think of from the outside.
From the Inside the process of Creation appears to us as a very long time. The Reason is that we are not able to conceive the rapidity of Creation from the outside.

In Sumation, theories are just theory and experiments are subject to interpretations.
I do not Believe that Scientific Theory has even scratched the surface determining how the Universe was formed into the architecture we admire today.

The most accepted theory is the Big Bang, and I think so too, because we could accept the Universe as a sphere, starting from a single point and continuously expanding. I believe in the Big Bang Theory, and I also believe in the creation parabolic in the Bible (cause I'm a Christian). Here's how.

Moses written that parabolic which states that the Universe was created in 7 days, which looks obsolete. But, in my theory, its not literal. If we accept each day as more or less 1 billion years, we can make a conclusion. First, "in the beginning the Universe was formless and void, and God said LET THERE BE LIGHT, and there was light". We can see, LET THERE BE LIGHT cleary matches the Big Bang Theory. The Earth was also mentioned dark and void, a fact that scientists now accept, because the newborn Earth was all formless, empty, null, void, made of hot, molten rock, poisonous gases, and very lifeless. So, its perfectly matches. Then, after the light, the Earth had water, and again, it perfectly matches the theory because scientists conclude that life came from water, then "let there be a firmament in the waters, that will divide the waters from the waters, which means land, so water came before land. Then God created, with his words, that fishes, sea creatures and seamonsters (again, accepting the theory that all life came from water) then plants and trees (which evolved from algae during the Silurian) came first, before the animals in land (Devonian to present). Then finally came humans. See how it matches? Bible and Science are not enemies after all. We just need some logic to understand the interconnection. Anyway, that's my theory.

Hi. I am not going to tell you God created the Universe. However if God did not create the Universe then the Universe created itself. The problem is coming up with an answer to the question how did theUniverse begin. The popular theory is the Big Bang Theory. The possibility of a Creator has been rejected on the grounds that there is no proof that one exists.Yet they are happy to stick to a self forming Universe even though at this point in time there is no proof how it started. I find it quite hilarious that both Creator and BIG BANG have no proof ,yet one is rejected in favour of the other.

The Big Bang theory is presently the best and as per that the whole universe originated from a singularity, a point. What was there before that? And what happens in future? No way of knowing really. Space and time came into existence along with the universe.

from nothing at all.

Remarkably, modern science has arrived at more or less the same conclusion as Augustine, based on what we now know about the nature of space, time, and gravitation. It was Albert Einstein who taught us that time and space are not merely an immutable arena in which the great cosmic drama is acted out, but are part of the cast-part of the physical universe. As physical entities, time and space can change- suffer distortions-as a result of gravitational processes. Gravitational theory predicts that under the extreme conditions that prevailed in the early universe, space and time may have been so distorted that there existed a boundary, or "singularity," at which the distortion of space-time was infinite, and therefore through which space and time cannot have continued. Thus, physics predicts that time was indeed bounded in the past as Augustine claimed. It did not stretch back for all eternity.

If the big bang was the beginning of time itself, then any discussion about what happened before the big bang, or what caused it-in the usual sense of physical causation-is simply meaningless. Unfortunately, many children, and adults, too, regard this answer as disingenuous. There must be more to it than that, they object.

Augustine was a theologian and he didn't claim God either.

The commonly accepted theory by religion and science alike is that the universe was created out of 'ex nihilo' or nothing, with everything from space, time, gravity etc. all coming into existence at the moment of creation.

So don't try and understand its pre-existence in our convential understanding of the universe and its laws, its simply beyond us. Perhaps one day a computer will find out how the creation truly came out of nothing in the manner it did, whether by two universes colliding in an alternate dimension or by outlandish theories it was created by a species in an alternate universe or if simply God made it.

But the discovery won't be mans to make, we can only speculate by ourselves.

The vast majority of what we call "the universe" is empty space. It has been here all along. Matter/mass seems to have appeared at a point source around 13 3/4 billion years ago from which it is expanding in all directions. This is called the "big bang". "Echos" of this event have been seen since the late thirties and the dawn of radio astronomy. This after-glow is called the Casmic Bachground Radiation. Astronomers/Astro-physicists discovered that in every direction, they could detect minute amounts of electro-magnetic radiation in the microwave band. It is significantly red-shifted and the oldest "light" that we can see. Life is a complex self-replicating relationship between matter and energy. The best scientific answer is that life developed in an advantageous environment around 4 1/2 billion years ago and has evolved into its present form over time. The alternative theory of life involves magic and I won't go into it here.

There are many theories about the beginning of the universe, but the most commonly known is the Big Bang. When the Big Bang occured, massive amound of energy and matter scattered all over the universe, and still is traveling the distance. The Big Bang theory has been proven by scientists who say that they were able to detect the doppler effect of the massive amound of energy released during the Big Bang.

First of all, there was a dense hot ball, a very tiny ball smaller than the molecule which is called the Big Bang Theory which states that the universe came from a very small object.
