Try System Restore to the date when it was working OK. If this does not work, try reinstalling Windows Media Player.

Well since your not very specific, I'll tell you my expierience. I thought mine was not playing, but then I realized it was on mute. Sounds silly, but most people don't know where the mute button is and so if they press it without knowing, they are stuck. The mute button is at the bottom right I believe, or left.

You need to be more specific.

Could be your soundcard, speakers, speaker power, cord from speakes to sound card, your media player my need reinstalling. does it open and not have any sound or will it not open at all. does it start the mp3 but no sound comes out???
