Crystals are neutral objects, meaning they can be used for good or evil. Some people would say it depends on the color of the crystal, like black is for evil, but unless someone is using it wrong and it happens to be black then that is usually false. Although you can choose a crystal for its color and use it for what you think that color represents. For example, you might think white represents spiritual energy and development and therefore use it for that purpose.
If used properly, crystals can be used from anything from protection to summoning. Again it all depends on how you use it. You can even use it just as a lucky charm for work or to help in your love life.
If it can be helped don't buy any on-line. Go on line to find a store near you that sells spiritual items like crystals and pick out the one that calls to you. Pick out the crystal that you feel the most drawn to while looking at them, and don't let anyone wear it for 7 days.

Crystals? they really dont do anything at all they are just decorative. well if you do believe in the "MYTHS" sayign that specific crystals have specific effect on the person's life like the so called pink crystals are for the LOVE LUCK while the gold ones are for MONEY AND POWER LUCK
Personally I don't believe in such things, they are just carbon conatining compounds that are attractive, how can they possibly make you wealthy or make you have a successfull love life, if it does make people wealthy then crystals are the answers to POVERTY?! haha funny right? so do you still believe such " MYTHS" ?

I can help you, i know tons about them. when you carry a crystal with you your body picks up on it's energies. they enter us through our chakras, our body then uses this for what ever it likes. they must be washed regularly and left out in the sun as a way to recharge there battery's.
healing or enhancing are the main purposes of crystals but it is said they can be used for other reasons like in rituals and magic.
what would you be looking, what healing properties would you like it to have
i will recommend jade(good luck, heals the mind), quarts (helps with psychic abilities), rose quarts (brings harmony within) but really it's up to what you'd want in a crystal?

Many people use them for healing others with and crystals
can be charged and used for certain magical purposes.
Before you buy some do a search on line for stones and
crystals and their magical properties. That should help you
decide which ones you will want to purchase.

There is (probably) nothing special about crystals, in the sense that you are asking about. Trust me. Get ones that look pretty.
Crystals have lots of technological uses. I use crystal deodorant. But they don't heal or perform magic, sorry.

Crystals are for enduing with some mysterious power so that in some mysterious way they can have some mysterious beneficial effect. Then dissolve them in hot water and drink 'em down - probably be more beneficial.
