oh here's the deal,
My father's english but we live in Australia. I have an Australian passport because I am an australian citizen. If I were to apply for a british passport, I would immediatly inherit one right? Is it still possible? and I can work and travel to countries part of the EU?

Best phone the UK consulate of embassy in Australia, as soon as possible.
The laws change all the time and the UK does not give passports easily.
If you get an UK passport you can travel and work easily in Europe. But if you can not get a UK passport, you can still work in Europe if you get the right paperwork. I think it will be easiest to get a work permit for the UK, but try every embassy if you really want to come to Europe.
Some eastern European countries are in need of English teachers and might give you a work-permit on the base of a teaching job, as long as you have enough education, (does not need to be for teaching.)

If you are an Aussie, you can come and work in Europe on Working Holiday Visa.

Having a UK passport only gets interesting when you need to apply for the dole in the UK (possible with UK passport, but not with an Aussie one) or intend to stay long-term in the EU without jumping through various hoops.

My advice: Try to get a UK passport no matter what, having a second passport is always useful.

But if you cannot get it, don't worry about it. You can still travel to Europe on your Aussie passport - it will just mean a lot more paperwork if you want to work or stay for longer.
