This is a very important question. To be frank, you can be barefooted in the house keeping hygine in mind. Some nuclear families, away from home with very little furniture putting their matresses on the floor as also having mattresses and cushions in the Drawing room also, have to be conciouse about being barefooted to maintain hyginic conditions. You also have to be barefooted while in the bed. But to say that homemaker will never wear shoes is going a little too much.

Well, I never wear shoes around the house, but thats because the floor is clean, the house is comfortable, shoes track in dirt from the outside, and clothing is always optional at our house. ;-)
no, you can't come over.
