Our solar system is moving around the milky way galaxy at 155 miles/sec and the milky way galaxy is moving through space at 185 miles/sec.

The sun does move. It has a path around the galaxy as the galaxy spins, but the galaxy is also going on it's own way out in the universe. All that time the earth, with it's one gee gravity is circling the sun, and the moon with it's 1/6th gee gravity is circling the earth. The moon circles as we circle the sun that circles in the Milky Way galaxy in which we dance with a couple dozen other galaxies called the local group, of which some of those go around us as they do Andromeda, and we all, as the Virgo Super Cluster head off into the expanding universe in the direction of "The Great Attractor". Sounds a bit ominous. No one is sitting still in this 200 million light year wide mass of galaxies.

thought you might like this....
from James A. Michener's "SPACE.. a novel"......
"I am motionless, he said to himself at last, and kept this posture for ten minutes, thinking of nothing. Then his brain insisted, recalling data he had memorized at Cal Tech......
'But at this moment, I'm sitting on a piece of Earth at 34degrees30 minutes North, which means "I'm spinning west to east at a rate of about 860 miles an hour. At the Equator, because of the larger bulge, 1,040 mph...... At the same time, my Earth is moving thru it's orbit around the Sun at 66,661 mph.... and my Sun is carrying itself and it's planets toward the star Vega at something ike 31,000 mph
Our Sun and Vega move around the Galaxy at the blinding speed of 700,000 mph and the Galaxy itself rotates at 559,350 mph......
and that's not all... OUr Galazy moves in relation all other galaxies as they rush thru the univer at a speed of better than 1,000,000 miles an hour....
so when I sit here absolutely still, I"m moving in six wildly different directions at an accumulated speed of maybe two and a half million mph... so I can never be motionless.... I'm traveling always at speeds which are incomprehensible ... and it's all happening in real time....
and, perhaps the Universe itself is hurtling toward some undefined destination at a speed which could hardly be stated..."
so, why do I feel like I'm sitting still?... wow!....

Sun is also moving constantly around the center of the milky way & would complete its one rotation in 22.5 crore years. So u can't say sun isn't moving.

sun doesnt move because its a made up system. sun exerts force on all the planets and lieu of that all the planets exerts equal and opposite force on the sun which makes them bond together as a system. however , this whole universe keeps on moving all the time. it keeps on expanding.as sun has the stronger force , therefore it does not move ,but as a system they keep on moving around the universe or around the centre of the universe.
