And how are they doing so far? But they have spent a lot of time getting ready for the 2008 election. Oh well maybe after the election but by that time every one will have forgotten all about their promise to bring the troops home.

Yes. It was tacitly understood that if they got elected that they would end the war. They have already missed an opportunity by refusing to cut funding for the war. If they're smart they will eventually do it. Or come the next election, there will be hell to pay.

welcome to the great power grab of 06. perhaps now you are waking up and realizing the pelosi/reid regime never intended to give you a magic pill about iraq. its simply to reinstall tax and spend failed welfare policy and liberal pap to the american public. iraq was simply a venue to get there.
