have you ever done this? I do. I like that Lifehouse song "first time" and that Nickelback song "far away". They have good sounds and I play guitar and i like hearing the song over and over and over. have you ever done that?

I think everyone has a song that speaks to them. I have a song that if i listin to it i feel like i'm 16 again dancing with my boyfriend with pomises of forever sometimes its nice to go back in time to remember. Why we have music because they say in sound what words can describe during something important in your life even if its just drving in the middle of no where with the wind blowing in your hair.

Yes. I wake up with the song in my head and then open Napster and make a whole playlist of that one song. I am listening to the same one over and over right now. I know what kind of mood I am in and I need the music to go with it. Wish Napster just had a Repeat or Replay Button.

I've done that because I tend to get really obsessed with things. I'll listen to a song a ton and then OD on it and not listen to it for a long time.
My favorite songs are the ones that I still like after many cycles of that! :)

Yeah I do that all the time too. For a instrument player like us it's important to hear the song over and over again because we'd like to play it.

Yeah I do that. Usually because the song inspires some type of emotion in me. Sometimes, it may relate to whatever situation Im in, or one Im imagining.

i do it all the time. i beg to differ when whoever i'm with tells me to change the song. i get real irritant.
the song means something to the person, obviously. one way or another. whether its just the music [guitar sounds] or the lyrics.

yes I just got a new CD and I've listened to only it over and over again for a couple days - I think because it's new and really good and I want to just get it in my head...
eventually I'll move on, but I'll still listen to it from time to time.
