I used to...but now I see a lot of people who walk around with their head down looking at their shoes as they walk...so I've decided that if they can't look me in the eye then I'm not going to disturb their interest in their shoes.
I used to initiate a conversation or say hello to superiors, and I'd say like "good morning, how are you today" and either I received a mumbled response or a "good morning" or "how are you? back" The sign of a supervisor is never to say how you're doing to an understudy. I hated that. So back then I stopped asking. Now that I'm a professional and work from home, I find myself just starting into a convesation without saying hello or the courtesy of a how are you. I think it's the work from home and the coldness from working on a computer that has changed me.

Um... depends. But usually no. I like to keep my distance. No wonder I never meet decent men!

Yep...and sometimes even when people don't seem to want to talk to me, I'll keep on going just to see how far I can take them before they walk away!
