My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years, since highschool. I am ready to get married, he seems to be in no hurry in purposing to me.... at all, even though I am ready. We do not live togethere, and I am now ready for our relationship to go to the next level. What should I do?

oh my! you are so patient aren't you?i had a 12 year relationship that sounds alot like yours tell him your ready for marriage and you need to know if he is. if he isn't then honey let him go. if he is not ready after 7 years he never will be

7 years is a long time to date, you seem to know he is not on the same page as you already, but you should still ask him what he is exactly seeing in the future reguarding your relationship. Then figure out if his answer is acceptable or if you should reevaluate your relationship with him. My sis was in the same spot as you & she decided she couldn't wait for him to by chance be ready anytime soon, they were together 10 years & he still wasn't ready. Now 2 years later she met the perfect guy & there getting married. Some guys hold on to you for the sake of having you at there convenience & some guys make sure they'll never lose you! Which guy is he?

talk to him... may be he doesn't know that you love him so much or may be he afraid if he ask he may lose you!!! so just go for it,...
