You have a high ambition to leave your country to come to Asia and teach, but it can be rewarding, both monetarily and culturally. Now, without a "degree" from a college, it may be difficult to get a legitimate job working with a language institute, because they are "supposed" to ask for credentials, but many will accept the fact that it is your native tongue....not all. Some sort of degree will open almost all doors, including teaching (tutoring) privately, which is where the money is. However, to get you started, you can start making about US$1,600 a month cash plus room and board, but you will likely have to share a flat or apartment with one or two other English teachers at the school. It really can be fun though. Good luck.

Please don't be discouraged. I heard the comparable situation some years in the past and did no longer prepare. I utilized for a activity in a public college, had my interview with the standard public college equipment, and gained a settlement to teach in South Korea for a year. There are human beings of diverse ethnic communities in South Korea, even however they're the minority. some Hagwons choose white instructors, others do no longer ideas. i don't understand your ethnic team, yet i understand that some African human beings have worked at CDI, a private chain in South Korea, i chanced on my place by Footprints Recruiting. it may desire to be less difficult to get a public college activity. each and every of the folk i've got asked pronounced that the Koreans have been large and/or in basic terms involved in human beings of diverse ethnic communities. confident. there'll be some racism, yet there is racism everywhere. there's a fb team talked approximately as Brothas and Sistas of South Korea. examine it out!

This depends if there are countries offer English as a subject, but it would be better to look for employers into the language school business in these countries to ensure you have a job waiting for you then just hit the road. you might end up hitting your head because of impulsive actions.

You can even go to countries like the Philippines since there is a so-called koreatown in the area. you can even teach english online to koreans. or japanese...You do not need to leave your place as long as you have computer at home..this drean job can be possible
