I just bought a HP Desktop but Im having issues already. Im getting a random window with a windll32.exe error message and when the computer goes idle you dont get any response from it when you try to get back on it. Does HP just suck or can this issue be resolved?

Hp desktops usually come with a lot of unnecessary programs.
Are you having this issue from the getgo? Or did it start after some time? You might be able to utilize the store return policy to return this for a working one. All new Desktops should run without problems with the pre-installed software. If you are getting errors, then there might be a program that was not installed properly.

You can try uninstalling any programs you deem useless, like the games that HP include. If you do not use a HP printer, you can also remove the Printer management softward (Some HP does come with it installed, like the print imaging director.

Hate to downgrade but HP has always been a propietary system thru the years, and now the Code Purple crap! So yes my vote is that HP sucks! Can you get the task manager to come up,(CTRL+ALT+DEL), and shut down. Then restart in Safe Mode, and do a System Restore to a time when it WORKED?

You could always get onto their support page: if you just got it then dammit man, hold them to 100% satisfaction.

thats the link for post-purchase support. They say their aim "is to respond to all e-mail within 1 business day" so you got nothing to lose. Just give them the full monty of details and you ought to get sorted.
And justified as it would be - play it safe and be nice ^_^
