All I remember from this song was the lyrics "Right here in the light (or night)". And it just strikes me as a football anthem. Anyone know this?

I guarantee it's not that '84 Poco song. Can't imagine getting worked up for a kickoff to that mellower piece of work.

Try "Days Gone By" by Poco. It was a '94 song. I don't know if that's it or not. I typed in the lyrics that you wrote into Yahoo in quotes, and that's what came up.

There was a song in the 80s called Black Masses which had that line once. It was very brutal though.
