No they should not. I personally cannot stand to listen to them for long but they have a right to their opinion and if they step over the edge they get fired (remember Imus). The problem does not come from people listening to them but from people not finding multiple sources for their information. Actually their have been a few times that I have learned about things from Rush that I didn't hear on other news channels. Of course, I always check into his stories before believing them due to his extreme inaccuracies on certain issues (anything dealing with Democrats will be wildly biased and should automatically be looked into).

Amen brother I'm reading "YOUR" message loud & clear!!! Hillary won't be happy until she has Rush's testicles in a "UNION" made testicle crusher! If ever Hillary Giuliani get into the executive branch Y/A will fall under the "Dept of Socialist/Fascist Propaganda"! But just think of it! We can post praise about our wonderful "IL DUCE" Rudy "Little Mussolini" Giuliani, or post worship about "CAMRADE" Hillary "little Stalin" Clinton!!! Just make sure that your castrated before one gets into office as it will be less painful for you in case ya "screw up" when one of em is in office!

Talk radio needs to be balanced out with progressive talk radio, which is really just starting up. I applaud Air America Radio for being a pioneer in this genre.

I absolutely despise most conservative public radio. The hate speech disguised as patriotism sickens me, and all the blind parroting by "ditto-heads" is even worse.
But no--no external force (especially not government) should shut it down, because we have freedom of speech. Instead? We should just keep complaining to the companies who run those shows, and perhaps boycott the products that advertise with them. As the profit margin drops, less stations will find it financially feasible to run these shows. But if we don't have the numbers to make a difference, then it remains their right to stay on the air.

They have a first amendment right to be rude, hateful liars. I wouldn't characterize them as patriotic, though. Nobody is suggesting shutting them down, either.

lol abusing their right? Wait, if its their right to say what they want then there is no abusing it. The first amendment is there so the government can not control it. Hence they are allows to say what they want when they want.

Yeah and while we're at it let's just make it mandatory that all people who think for themselves must have their mouths sewn shut once they hit 18!

Does your radio have an off button?
I know what you mean though but it is best not to think about how other people swallow talk back radio and consider focusing on your personal growth and social development instead.
