Any cosmetic parts (bumper covers) and accessories (stereo) will be no problem.

The instrument cluster from the dash will be a problem as this will be tailored to the engine/gearbox. combination in each car.
Door locks should be OK, but ingition lock may not be, as it is linked to the immobiliser, which is built in to the engine management system.

The front springs and dampers are a big NO.
The diesel engine is heavier than the petrol engine, so needs different spring and damper rates.

a lot of the parts are interchangeable but don't forget to get the cars paper work in order as the d.v.l.c. in Swansea are a right pain about the end of life paper work on a scrap car. If you mess up on the paper work what you save on the cost of some parts will go in fines and trying to dispose of the scrap car.
