Hey, I live in vegas now (from MI) and the place is full of lights!
I dont know if it's a good Idea to go into the mountians (even though I'm dying to), I'm going w/ my sister who may be a bit jumpy. So, does anyone know the best place to watch the shower in vegas?
If you know a good place in the mountains please tell me anyway, and any other place would help (detailed discriptions of places, or anything you can give me would be greatly appreciated) Thanks

There's a observatory in Las Vegas.

Planetarium and Observatory
3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Ste. 1A
North Las Vegas, NV 89030
(702) 651-4SKY

They might have something there and also the best time and night to see the meteor shower is late tomorrow night to dawn Monday morning.

good luck.

in case you bypass West on Charleston till you bypass away city, you persist with it previous purple Rock Canyon and there are some places to tug over the place you will choose a lot of room to park you vehicle. From there, you will discover approximately seventy 5-eighty% of the night sky, with the jap mountains having a average haze of sunshine becoming from in the back of it.
