I wouldn't exactly call what we've been doing for the last 4.5 years as "nation-building". More like "terrorist breeding".

this relies upon on an excellent sort of stuff moving into accordance to plot. If we can save the terrorists out so as that the oil companies can pull oil thoroughly. If we can save the terrorists in Afghanistan. If Iraq sticks to the deal. If the U. We are there deffending the peace... we also take the RESPONSIBILITY (a word libs hate) to help rebuild a nation that has just been through extremely difficult circumstances... should the plan have been to just go in... take out the dictator and terrorists... and then leave the country in shambles and ruins? Perhaps that is the liberal point of view... but conservatives have compassion for others and see fit to help them rebuild.... yes companies will make money doing it... (most companies do make money... they also employ people)

BTW... I thought it was big bad companies like Haliburton who were doing the building... not our troops...

Yes, Bush was against it until he decided it worked as a means to achieve his goals....

All politicians flip-flop -- some just admit it and claim to have valid reasons for their change of heart. Others deny they do it, and just look foolish.
