Hmm.. i disagree with it. How i understood this quote was more on "keeping someone in the dark". Yes the truth does hurt and one might think lying to someone to protect them from getting heart conceals the weak minded and protects the innocent...but although the truth may hurt its pain and experience that make you stronger.

i disagree. cuz it doesnt protect the innocent, it only conceals the weak minded....and if it conceals weak minded, thats not good which means darkness is bad and so are the weak minded within it...

I guess it depends on if you are referring to "spiritual darkness" or "physical darkness". Speaking metaphorically, darkness is a place to hide or get lost. I think if you use your own personal darkness as a tool to retreat until your strong, than yes, it can be a good thing. But if you linger to long and choose to live in that darkness, it will be your undoing, and a very bad place to be.

i agree on dakrness isnt always bad.... altho i do suffer a lot from it.... but i dont agree on how it protects the innocent... darkness is like the shadow of guilt, or just somethin in your past in dont wanna reveal... whether cuz its embarrassing or.... somethin else... u know... your dark past.... or somethin...
