I'm entering high school this fall and on facebook.com there are numberous other potiental classmates that are joining. since most of us don't know each other yet, they are making friends at random. one girl asked me and I figured why not? so in a rush I just said sure and then I lookedat her profile and found out that she has no similarities to me! she is boy-crazy and in her away message she mentioned her "boyfriend"! she isn't even a freshman yet really! how do I polietly say, "nice to have met you online, we are very different than each other but I don't really want to be friends sorry!" is there a way to say that without stepping on toes? please help!

Just wait until you meet, it'll soon become obvious that you don't have things in common and she'll move on without hurt feelings. School is soon anyway, and you never know, maybe you'll hit it off.

be nice to her...she may be the only real friend you'll have for a while.
