Blues Festivals? Yes, some of the best blues musicians came to live here in the 60's Marti Gras celebrations? No, that is part of the Carnaval celebrated in Catholic countries like Spain and Italy. BBQ's? Of course! Fireworks? Yes of course, they took the custom to the States Yoga Zen Meditation Hispanic or other cultural public fairs? Ever hear of Notting Hill?? Renissance Fairs? The UK doesn't need a Renaissance Fair, it had the Renaissance the first time. There are however a lot of historical reenactments in places like Hastings etc.

yes and it or rather they were beautiful except that they manage to always fall on very hot days so dressing up is just what you have to do despite it......honestly I don't know why on earth they hold them in the summertime...and early fall when it is an Indian Summer.......Well they are great, music, food indigenous to the times , wearing trhe proper attire.....some people are so stuck on this they have groups that meet and actually go to live in the woods together for campouts and such!!!! it is also not a rarity to have weddings at these events.....it has a lot of magic to it......I know many people who live and dress like the Renaissance attire would have been....I tell you, I would just go as a fallen woman......Can't beat the worlds oldest profession!!!!! I have been many times and have read cards at them too.

Yes, the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in California, northern and southern. fun fun fun! lots of beer to drink and wicked humor abounds!

In 7th grade my school set up a Renaissance Fayre and as a whole class we had to set it up...it was really fun.

Yes, it was pretty cool. I saw jousting, a good band, and a funny magician. Lots of stuff to see. And I bought myself a dagger. I would go again but there is no longer one in my area.
