1. About a week, my 16 month old drinks 1 to 2 eight oz sippy cups a day of whole milk...I drink skim and buy it in half gallons, usually, cuz I mostly only use it for my cereal.

2. Almost $3. Not too bad, considering whatever hardships farmers are having these days.

3. Doesn't happen here, just me and my boy here...(his sorry dad and I are separated, so I don't have to deal with THAT kinda stupid stuff--stuff he'd do too!)

4. No, I usually only have my skim with my cereal for breakfast, then may sometimes use calcium as a justification for eating ice cream from Sonics or Ben & Jerry's...

5. (See #3). I did get pissed in the past in other living arrangements when that happened, but I'm glad I don't have to deal with that now.

6. I only pay attention to the "Sell By" date when I'm buying milk, after that, it's all about how it smells and tastes which determines for me whether it's trash or not.

1. a gallon? I don't buy it by the gallon. a half gallon lasts about 2 weeks.
2. I have to buy lactose free milk, so, by the half-gallon, it's pretty expensive.
3. No. I live alone. So when all the milk is gone, I have no one to blame but myself.
4. No. I have a large quantity with a bowl of cereal most mornings.
5. Mad? No. Not really. Maybe a little annoyed.
6. I drink it past the expiration date; however, I begin sniffing it prior to pouring it, each day past the expiration date. If sniffing doesn't help, I take a quick swig... directly from the carton... 'cause, after all, I do live alone.

I like milk quite a bit. Some days I will drink a half gallon in one day by myself. Even when I was too young to remember I drank more than most lol. Ive only had milk long enough to expire once or twice in my life. When somebody finishes off the milk I say darnit and either go on scavenging or run to the corner store. I don't consider milk to be expensive if bought in gallons. I also love the taste of powdered milk if made properly. but it is more expensive that regular milk so there is no point. Sometimes my church gives it away for free though.

1) Probably three-four days.
2) Yes, I consider a gallon of milk expensive. Especially soy milk, but it's too yummy to pass on.
3) Haha, always! I'm so mad when I pour my cereal in my bowl, slice a banana, and then I find out there is no milk.
4) Sometimes.
5) Haha! See question three.
6) I drink it on the expiration date. I don't have the guts to test if it's sour or not. I leave that to my brother.

1. With my 3 siblings, normally 2 1/2 days.
2. Yes!!! A "cheap" gallon of milk here in Hawaii is $6.99!!!
3. My 13 y/o gets ugly when she can't get her Honey Bunches of Oats.
4. Yes.
5. Only my sis. I just groan and eat waffles.
6. I've never had milk in the house long enough that it lasts to the expiration date.

Milk here costs $3.88. In my house we go through a gallon a day and everyone takes their turns being the culprit, but what bugs everyone the most is when someone leaves so very little milk in the jug that its not enough to swallow twice! But what really makes sh*t hit the fan is when a person puts the jug back empty!! I've never actually witnesed the expiration of milk at my house (wow that sure would be weird)☺

1. About a week
2. Somewhat
3. If I drink it my om gets mad because she HAS TO have it with her coffee
4. I have one in the morning every day, but usually drink water the rest of the day and I don't like too many other dairy things(like yogurt. I hate it but I wish I didn't because it's good for you)
5. I keep it a few days after the expiration date, but I usually don't have to worry about it since it's usually gone before the expiration date
