Smile, and ask the other persons questions about themselves. Hi, (smiling) my name is _________. Are you originally from __________(city name where you are currently. From there on, ask questions that can not be answered with a yes or no answer. Where did you go to school? What did you study? How well did that area of study help you in your present job? What do you like to do on your off time? Of those places, which do you like best? Why? You will be adding comments along the way to show that you can relate to what they are saying .....You've got a conversation going. Enjoy!

....then of course you tell them about how yahoo answers is where you heard it first and talk about wierd questions you seen/asked and whatever else and then it will naturally go into something youre interested in
