Since the media, and most of it coming from the left, has made such a big deal about his race, which should not matter either, I think that anything is fair game. Just as the media is making a big deal about Clinton being a woman, they are making a big deal about Obama being black. You know, I just don't care either way. I thought Alan Keyes ran for the Republican nomination in 1996 and again in 2000, and I thought that Jessie Jackson ran for the Democratic nomination in 1984 and again in 1988, but I must be wrong. That must have been an illusion created by too many years of heavy drinking on my part because the media is really excited about a black candidate finally running for president.
If the media and his campaign wants to make a big deal out of something that isn't, and it is something so base as he's a black man, when there have been others before him, then anyone gets to pick out anything else that is just as pointless and use it.

Oprah was wrong. We MUST judge people, but not PREjudge. The fact that we have an election validates our judgement of one person more worthy than another to hold the office. In this day and time, I believe that we must look at every aspect of a persons life that might influence their decisions as President. Like it or not, it was some Muslims who cast the dark shroud over the religion. It is a larger group of Muslims that continue to threaten our existence (bomb threats and plans...) Many people asked whether Bush's Christianity would affect his policy making. I believe we should be just as free to consider the same queston for Obama.

How do you get 46% of African Americans out of the stats? Have you gone to each African American individually to ask this question? And whilst we are on the subject of uninformed voters and their presidents, what about every other president voted in office? How much about them have we((Americans )actually known about them personally? Then again, What's so different between Islamic faith and Christianity( not a lot) Or, on another hand, Americans are infamous for calling people's religion a race( 'Jewish' people for example). Since when does a religion become a race? digressing........... Third of all, You fail to mention these are the same people who voted for Bill Clinton,( Not African American) and many African Americans voted for Hillary. There are so many things that voters( of all races) are uninformed of when giving their support. He's American, and he's young, has new, fresher ideas. Thats what this country needs.Obviously the same ole same ole got us basically bending over without Vaso for China( who now owns us all). Are you even American? or are you Canadian? I'm just wondering, where all of these strong stats came from. And don't tell me its from 'liberal media', All americans know that that's as much an urban legend as B. Mary.

Unfortunately, the press has made religion an issue. Think about Mit Romney. He has a good government service record and seems to have impeccable moral character. The big complaint about him is that he is a Mormon. People will find anything to discredit a candidate. Personally, my issue with Obama is a lack of experience. He has never been the president of anything. He is a freshman senator and has no time in government service. That is worrisome.

It doesn't matter. Obama isnt going to win. He has had, what, 2 or 3 years of political experience?
Mike Gravel = 40+
Obama doesn't answer questions! He is wishy washy and acts like he is a teenager in highschool trying to win a popularity contest by trying to piss off the least amount of voters.
Obama btw isnt muslim though his background is, he is christia. The media is crap and bias a rasicist, but have you heard Barack complain? No, because his lobbyist money is flowing in and CNN is giving him all the time in the world in all those debates.
Note: Obama wasn't even in the Congress to vote for or against the war. So ofcourse he is going to say he is against it because its the popular view. Politics as usual! But Obama says he would nuke Pakistan. Some kind of anti-war stance huh.

Mr. Obama will have his shot at the white house but he won't get elected, not in this life time and as for your small minded anti-Christian rhetoric, well, we are all human beings, whether we are Christians, Jews or whatever we will make mistakes because why, we are all human. Also before you try to pull the splinter from my Eye, how bout taking that log out of yours.

Religion is not supposed to be an issue in the selection of a President but it is the performance and the qualifications of a candidate.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Obama will likely win.

Did he convert? Last I knew he was a christian. His father was muslim, hence his name, then became an atheist. His mother has always been a christian. There may be people out there screaming otherwise, but I believe they are misinformed. Unfortunately, you are too.
Edit: I checked Google- Your concern is valid, just not your facts. He is a christian.
