I found it quite bizarre actually. Most of them were young people in their 20s and 30s. They were screaming and waving signs saying Don't see this movie! and saying it was blasphemy.

There should be people protesting against really bad movies like that Bratz one.

They weren't protesting, but when the movie was over and people were leaving, there was a church group handing out literature to everyone leaving the screening of the DaVinci Code. I didn't even look at it till I got home. These people looked at us like we were all going straight to hell, it was kinda creepy.
I agree with the protest of crappy movies like Bratz, any Lindsey Lohan film, and bad parody movies. That's what we need to protest there!

the e book is significantly greater advantageous. The movie seems to lack the "can't positioned it down" p.c.. of the e book. Plus they have replaced countless key issues (like sophie being a cryptographer yet Robert being the only to sparkling up the expertise video games interior the louvre). And the ending is slightly crap besides. in case you haven't any longer examine the e book, you will probable delight in the movie. the movie additionally looked as though it could have lost dissimilar the non secular overtones of the e book. this became probable carried out for merchandising and marketing motives, however the characters look particularly distinctive interior the movie to the e book.

I saw them for Dogma, but not for DaVinci Code.

Both were irreverent works. Dogma was quite funny in places.

We have enough people who believe anything they hear without Hollywood messing it up too.

Read Genesis 7:2 to see what I mean. Everybody assumes that Noah took 2 of every animal onto the Ark. Ever read it for yourself?

Like duuuuhhh!
No one is protesting about Da Vinci Code...
I even think that protesting thingy was just a rumor.
It's a great movie with a great fantasy and lots of imagination in it.

I did witness people, but not when I was there to see it. I went on another date and no one was there. But opening weekend there was a lot of younger people in the Orlando FL area who were handing out leaflets and talking to people.

I never saw a single protester. It was a tempest in a teapot (or perhaps a cloudburst in a chalice)
