Yes, I performed the Heimlich maneuver on a customer in our family's restaurant when I was 16 or 17....he was very panicky and turning blue; he had gotten out of his chair and was walking around flailing his arms, and when I saw his blue face I realized at once what the matter was. I have also had my life saved. My sister saved my life when I was about 5 or 6...we were swimming in the local "swimming hole"...and I was in a "trance-like" state, lying in water over my head, unable, for whatever reason, to move...I am certain I would have drowned had she not come and taken me from the water...it's all a vague memory, but I know she saved my life that summer day, and I shall be eternally grateful!

i think i saved a family from drowning when the tide went high while they were swimming. to my horror, i found out none of them knew how to swim, they never thanked me but i don't mind. my dad saved my sister from drowning when she was 13, i was 7, saw the whole thing... kinda scary.

my nephew started running out into the highway when he was a toddler. A semi was coming and couldn't slow down. It's breaks were screeching, and I started running after him when I caught him he was in the middle of the road and I grabbed his arm and jumped onto the gravel beside the road the wind from the truck flipped us over it was so close. My legs were cut and scratched really bad but he was not hurt. God was with us that day. His mom couldn't go after him she was pregnant and wasn't able to run fast enough to catch him

My mom saved my life when I was a toddler. My grandparents and my aunt went to go shopping and they wanted to take me with them (back in the days, seatbelts were just an option and not mandatory) and my mom refused to let me go with them (mother's instincts). Then afterwards, they had a car accident. All of them survived but were injured. If my mom didn't have that strong intuition, maybe I wouldn't be sitting here today writing about it. Thanks mom!

yes I saved my sisters life. We were canoeing and there around the bend was some rapids and our boat tipped and was full of water. I tried to tie the boat around me and save both but I was only 16 and not strong enough to do both so I had to let go of the boat and only save her.

I also saved someone who was drowning. I've also saved babies from being hit by a car, too.
