I did a repair of windows coz i kept freezing.. but i got this message saying "VIAAGP1.SYS on VIA AGP Filter disk is needed" but i dont where it could be. Ive looked on forums and they say its in C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers but its not :(

ALSO after i repaired windows i tried to install my video drivers for my ATI Radeon 9550 but i got this error "Setup was unable to complete the installation try to set up your display adapter witha standard VGA adapter driver before running setup" what does that mean ? does that mean i have to be in 640x800 res to install ?

could the 2 probs be connected ??

This is generally a sign that your operating system assigned a driver and configured it in the install of the operating system So remove the driver that it is now using (Control panel/system/hard ware/device manager/display adapter/ right click your 9550 /properties/uninstall driver If any othervideo adapters are listed uninstall them also. Uninstall all soft ware that you installed with the drivers when its done shut down and reboot it will find your video adapter card and want to install it /deny/choose have disk and install your video cards drivers
