Yeah, most of the time I hate it too.
This usually happens when someone tells me to do my homework or start some project that I was planning on doing really soon anyway.
I guess parents do this a lot, and also other relatives. It seems that parents sometimes get so used to saying something that they don't notice how often they say it, but I'm not sure if they say it because of habit or what is their intention.

OMG!!! yes!!!! it makes me think they think im slow and cant control and think for my own. my gramma does it. and i just wanna punch her in the face!

Just tell that her following you is making you feel a bit uncomfortable. Tell her that she seems to be a great friend, but right now, you'd really appreciate if she could lay off on the visiting and what not. Take things slow.

Yes, but mostly I hate when someone tells me to do something they knew I was (or maybe wasn't) going to do anyway just because the boss happened to be near to hear them.

There is NOTHING worse than nagging. It is so annoying that, even if I was planning for weeks to do the thing, looking forward to it, and let everyone know when I was going to do it, if someone nags me to do it, I will cancel my plans and just blow off the whole thing, thats how angry it makes me. Just thinking about it makes me mad. grrrr...

It just means that your both on the same wave link of thinking it can be annoying but parents say it because they dont think you have thought of it yet. So bet them to it and when they say have you done Blaaa..... you can say done watch there faces espeacilly when you have done it before they ask.

yup. Like, when my mom and dad tell me somthing to do, and i say, ok. And I will, but they keep repeadly saying it even while i'm doing my job!

Not only do they tell you to do it, but then they want to tell you how to do it. Why didn't they just do it, would of got done faster.
