Please help. I need the answers quick. If you can, can you also tell me what is happening to the Moon and what will happen to Earth as a result?

Contrary to what has already been said, the Moon does affect day and night.

The Moon also exerts a tidal force on the ground (this effect has been measured). The net effect of this tidal force is that the Earths rotation is slowing. In merely several 100 billion years Earth's day will be equal to one lunar month (about 28 current days).

Current examples of this are that the Moon does not spin with relation to the Earth. The same side of the Moon always faces us, this is because the tidal force of the Earth on the moon caused it to stop spinning. The other example I have is the planet Mercury. Since Mercury is so close to the Sun the Sun exerts a tidal force on it which has nearly stopped Mercury from spinning; a Mercury day is more than half a Mercury year.

The moon has no effect on our seasons. Day and night are also not affected by the moon except the fact that you get moon light in the night(except on new moon).Somtimes, solar eclipse occurs when moon comes in between the sun and the earth in which case day light is affected.
Weather also is not affected by it.But when the moon is in the perigee position(the nearest position to earth in its elliptical orbit around he earth), the difference in height between high tide and low tide will be more.At this time, if a cyclonic storm crosses the shore with a full moon or new moon occuring, the damage may be severe.
The high tides and low tides on a full moon day or a new moon day are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon. As above said, the distance between the moon and the earth (which changes due to the elliptical orbit)also affects the difference in heights of the high tide and low tide.
So ,except producing the tides, the moon has no other effct on the earth.

The moon is the primary cause of ocean tides on the earth. The sun also has some effect. Seasons, day and night, weather, and natural disasters are generally outside the moon's gravitation influence.

The only thing that comes to mind when I think of the moon is how it relates to the tides and how high and low they will be.

Hope I was of some help.
