You have no idea what these people want because the media and government are not letting you know.

you will find that it so simple to sort out and that peoples lives need not be in danger.

Terrorists are termed freedom fighters in their own countries and what they usually want is some injustice that has been doen against them to be made right. These injustices are no historical ones, they are recent ones, like.. for example.. the freedom of prisoners where there is no evidence against them or the return of land which has been taken from them or the exploitation of their people to stop.

I am not a policitcal person but I am sure that if some negotiation or talks at least could take place, it would make our world a safer place to live.

They want to sow hatred and fear -- they want us to stop being who we are -- they want us to cower in a corner, and to stop allowing freedom and diversity.

In short, they want exactly what we're giving them -- the terrorists are winning every day we choose to live in fear -- every day we hate people who are different solely because they are different -- every day that we forget what made us great -- the terrorists win every time we sink to their level.

But it's also important to sort out the real terrorists from the hype and the scapegoats -- many of the people labeled as "terrorists" are really just insurgents -- they have no political agenda outside their own country, and are only fighting because they oppose the govt that was forced on them by us. They just want to be left alone, the way any people would want invaders to leave them alone.

So, for the insurgency -- we can sit down and find a political solution -- because that's all they want is a political solution. The insurgents just want to be left alone.

But the terrorists -- nothing will satisfy them other than our destruction or theirs -- because they are motivated purely by hatred, and no amount of negotiation will change that.

What they want is abolish any and all governments, make the world one religion that will be ruled by fear. They are particularly hell bent on destroying the United States, England and Israel.

They have no regard for human rights or the freedoms that we in the USA sometimes take for granted.

My friend they are unwilling to negotiate to any terms of any agreement. As far as I am concerned, giving in is not an option but total destruction is.

The terrorist mind set is to kill any infidels, which in other words mean any thing or any one that disagrees with their goals or do not believe in the same religious ideals.

Hope that this helps.

it all depends on:

1. who is the terrorist [individual or group]

2. their goals for being terrorists

3. what they want

it can be virtually anything, from money to prisoner releases to just causing mayham. It can be anyone from a fellow American [ex: Tim Mcvey an OK city bombing] to an international organization [i.e. Al Q].

Everyone's frame of reference is different and that causes them to act in different ways for different reasons.
