completely numb out, and/or a shot of vodka
not healthy,, for sure
the better way would be to journal as much as you can
then think long and hard if you really want to continue hurting for someone who most likely doesn't give a dammm
second/ how can you love yourself/ fulfull your soul/ pamper your heart, if this makes any sense, whatever your crying about is not fulfilling you, and leaving you empty and unloved.
you do not derserve that, so what I suggest is to decide to not put up with it, reject it. move on, you have no room, needless to say TIME for this kind of behavior
If it's something beyond your control, do the same,, it's not your job to to mourn something beyond your control, it's your job to recognize the problem, and act.
rationalize the situaltion, do what you can, LET GO off what you can't.
and meanwhile keeping yourself emotionally safe and loved.
this will give you power

I dont cry much.
I slam things, throw things, break things and yell at people.
I even knocked over my brothers whole drum set once, but that was more of an accident. I fell backwards over trying push my brother over.....
I also push my brother. I have a biiig temper, but once I do that stuff and then calm down (wether I am mad or sad, no rhyming intended) and then I read this book I have about the Dalai Lama (who is a true insperation) and then try to meditate (but I am really bad at the second part)
Do whatever works for you.

Also blasting music really helps.

Take it out on stuff. For example at times I go into my kitchen grab a plate and break it. Or sometimes I go into my car put the windows up put the music on blast and scream on the top of my lungs. It always helps. =]

and you need to stop regretting everything, if you didnt go out, we wuldnt hav became friends with him, me and Christian wuldnt hav been so close as soon, and you wuldnt hav been so happy and in love. so pleez, just call me or get online and email me or sumthing.
and pleez dont cry, you are making me cry, i love you Alison you are my best friend, and i am seriously depressed right now i feel terrible for letting this happen, so pleez dont cry.

I used to cut, but now I write, I walk my dogs, do anything to take myself out of the moment and distract myself =)

take a deep breath, calm myself down and go to sleep

ps: I finds myself feeling very tired and sleepy all the time when I'm depressed
