Eh- it's all relative. with subsequent pregnancies, you must remember that you are more alert and in tune with your body, and you're going to notice more and experience more earlier on. Your stomach is huge- you're pregnant. It's just one of those perks that comes with being able to give life to another being. (Which I think is awesomely wonderful and sexy... just in case you get any of those "i'm so fat and ugly" ideas...) As far as your privates hurting- I'm at 25 weeks and cannot have sexual intercourse. It's way too painful. That's just how this pregnancy is. All in all, relax, enjoy those extra 300 calories, and have fun. :)

with ur 2nd pregnancy u will most likely show more and earlier. In the beginning of my 2nd pregnancy...my upper tummy was big and hard and bottom was soft and small. After the 5th month or during it..My tummy finally got hard all around. It'll take time. ANd my private started hurting when i was about 13 weeks pregnant. felt like the kinda soreness after u gave birth. I feel like i've been kicked or bruised in the crotch. Very uncomfortable n painful. but my OB told me it may be the scar tissue from giving birth before.

I'm short too and got thick around the middle very quickly with my first. Everyone at work thought I was having twins because I was so big.
Each pregnancy is different and carried a little differently. Your pelvis could be hurting from the ligaments relaxing (normal process) which for some gets more uncomfortable with each pregnancy. Get your significant other to give you a massage

My relative is due in 3 weeks and I am very close with her (was my matron of honor)! She actually has a birthing coach and I get all the juicy "natural" info on baking those babies!!!! The coach has informed us both that as soon as you know you are pregnant it is in both you and the baby's best interest to sleep on your left hand side with a 2 pillows between your legs and your left arm awkwardly sticking out the back side (not uncomfortable just looks weird!). Also include a pillow underneath your neck and head. this position allows maximum blood and oxygen flow for you and your Lil growing bundle. It is a soothing position to ensure sweet dreams and also gets your down-stairs stretched for the welcoming the baby! I hope this is helpful... I would say sleep on your left hand side since you know it can't hurt and can only help since you know early on!!!

The ultra sound should give a pretty accurate due date. But you may want to get a second opinion on that.
When I had my second child, I was much bigger much sooner... and I asked the doctor why. He told me the uterus will tip forward more after the first child, thus making you look bigger..
But if your not comfortable with this doctor, please find a different one. Nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable with your doctor.

They can measure the baby with a ultrasound. They're get pretty close to the actually due date. Since it's your second than maybe it's getting bigger cause it's your second and not your first..I don't know.
good luck!
