I am just curious whether or not I can take the driver's permit test for my friend. Is there any way I can be caught?

Yeah -- I know it's stupid. I feel totally bad for her. She can't pass it for the life of her and I've been studying with her and she's not doing too hot. She's 19 with a baby and I really want her to get her license and become independent.

Thanks for all answers so far.

I know guys I know. I have thought about this and I know it's best to not even get involved. I have already highlighted all of the answers in the book for her but she's still not passing.

Oh yeah and she still drives anyways. Not my car of course. So permit or no permit she's still on the road. I just wish she could drive legally.

I can't help but feel so bad for her. She doesn't live with me by the way. She has a hard life and I'm always trying to save the world. I really need to worry about myself more often.

If she can't drive, she really doesn't need to be on the road in the first place.

That puts other people in danger, as well as her child.

It is absolutely ILLEGAL to do this, and I wouldn't even suggest TRYING.

Let her pass it herself, and don't risk the safety of others because you want her to drive.

Have her take some form of city transportation.
She is NOT your problem, she is her own, and needs to realize that if she is living with you, mooching off you, etc.

No, you can not!

Why would you even consider doing something like that? If your friend can not pass the simple permit test, they should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle!!!!! Do you want someone on the road with you who lacks the basic knowledge to drive safely?

Tell your friend to study and pass the test themselves!!

Yes you will definitely get caught and its not worth it!! You could end up having your license suspended if you already have one and if not don't expect to get it anytime soon...same with her! The permit test is really not that hard, come on she can handle it. Just read the handbook. If you can do it she can and if she honestly can't we really don't want her on the road anyway!!

In some cases, they'll ask you to sign something - if that signature doesn't compare to the signature that ends up on the license, somebody will be in trouble.

Why would you do this? There are enough idiots on the road as it is - do you really want to let someone out there who hasn't been tested?

Ah yeah, you can go to prison for fraud. Both of you will also lose your license. And when you go into the testing place, you will need a birth certificate....plus do you REALLY want someone who can't pass a basic test driving?

You have to show all different kinds of identification to take the permit test. Plus they take your picture to put on the permit. Besides being illegal its not a good idea.

Minors cannot be charged for non violent felonies. If they don't ask for a picture ID, you can more than likely get away with it. Yes it is wrong, but the moral decision is ultimately yours, be sure to memorize her DOB, mothers maiden name, address etc

Hell the joke around here is people memorizing the line for the vision test so the license will say no restrictions on corrective lenses.

Sure, go ahead. Go and put a driver on the road that shouldn't be there. Just what we all need: another bad driver.

This is a joke, right? Please let this not be a serious question!
