NO
I am too old to worry about things like that - I would move to NH though. That way I have a better chance of making changes for others.
We know we cant change the system from outside unless its done on a massive scale - and I really mean massive - I am not talking an isolated demonstration of 100,000 people - I am talking more like constant demonstration of several million people in several hundred places at a time.
It is unlikely that such demonstration will take place - therefore it will be necessary to work from with inside the system in order to change it....even if that means we start with one single state and work our way outward from there.

They say the military doesn't accept GED recipients, flat-footed people, or anyone with a felony record. Well, I'm a GED recipient and find that insulting, my feet were once athletically-arched, but now flat from cheap shoes and being on foot all day at work in a pharmacy... and the last one? If a person really didn't want to join the military there are so many things... not to mention that the unfair prejudice against those with GEDs would really not motivate me to take a bullet for "my" nation, a place where I've gone bankrupt, have no friends, and have never been on a date.

YAY I'm a female! However, if I wasn't I would not run from the draft! Since I have to pick between Canada or Mexico .......Canada all the way! Most of them speak English I could learn a bit of French on my own. The cops are a tad bit nicer up there, I didn't have to pay a single one of them off when I got into trouble :)

I don't think the draft would pass. Too many oppose it. As for me, I don't have to worry. I've wanted to go in the Air Force for years, but there's this little problem of me not having a pancreas. The military wants you to have all your organs. Maybe we should draft the Bush twins first. Then the idea wouldn't seem so hot

Neither, I'd stay here because I love my country.
WWII was won by draftees.
/EDIT: Man, almost missed a perfect opportunity to highlight liberal hypocrisy. The only legislation proposed in Congress to reinstate the draft was authored and presented by Charles B. Rangel. A Democrat in the House.

We can only hope that the ones who talk so big about running away will actually do so. Then, unlike Vietnam we don't offer amnesty to the cowards and keep them out of the country as well as ridding ourselves of the illegals.
As for the girls here saying "But I'm a female". That ain't gonna fly, if you think pelosi and clinton won't put your butts on the line too you are full of it.
win/win.
Put your tears and thumbs down over there so I can keep laughing at your impotence. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No, I guess it would be kind of difficult for me to be a soldier. Due to my heart condition I can't go up more than about 60 stairs or so before I become too out of breath to stand.

If in the unlikely event they get this resolution to pass, there won't be enough support for it to override a presidential veto.

If they want to recall me to active duty, I'm all for it. I did 20 but I'm up to the task of doing another 10 if need be.

I am staying right here, for I already did my time and served my obligation. Hell, it would be a great economic opportunity for me for the competition will be drafted and I will not.
Hey thumbs down if you want, I know I did my duty.
