Murtha did it for pure political gain, and in my opinion in his position that is treason.

Don't count on it! Politicians don't apologize, have ya heard George Bush apologize for landing us in Iraq under
false pretenses? That also unlikely........If anyone really wants to get a feel of what's going on over there. Might I
suggest watching "The war Diaries" on the Military Channel This isn't lop-sided reporting, its our troops,in
Iraq, their thoughts, their stories, everyones blood. If you
want the real truth, not from the "Whitehouse" from
the "Battlefield."It will change many of ourmisconceptions
and clear-up alot of the lies. It is very true that the
insurgents do hide among civilian population, while our troops search houses for weapons and insurgents phones are hooked to propane tanks and exploded in hopes of killing our troops. Its a "living-hell" over there,
and its almost like Nam, people over here have no idea!

Sadly, a lot of Americans forget that we are involved in a unconventional war, whereas, civilian casualties is a possibility because extremist militants are not fitted in military attire. They are prowling amongst those civilians popping out like the cowards that they are, and henceforth these type of casualties will continue to take place. People need to get real with themselves. Any Vietnam vet can relate to the use of women and children during warfare, making our jobs more difficult in identifying the culprits and had felt the same atrocities of war. Plain and simple.

Murtha has a far more pressing duty to be responsible than any of us in this matter.
The man was a political plodder until his blustering call for troop withdraw, and when Tim McGirk cobbled together this tale, Murtha was all too ready to be the libs' proclaimer of "Marine atrocity."
How he acted is shameful and unfortunately indicative of his party.
For me, Rumsfeld and Bush should also be taxed.
I gotta ask: has anyone actually seen Murtha's military service record?
That past is as murky as his and Teddy Kennedy's eyes after a night of saucing.

No and he is not no where to be found and the drive by media is not on this. It is not part of their template to bash the right and the military. Murtha being in the service means nothing more than Kerry who by the way served in Vietnam for a few days long enough to give himself medals.
They both are traitors and they and the entire left need to to be brought on these charges. The jumped to the conclusion they must be guilty just like the Duke Lacrosse case. No fair trail.

Murtha's mistake is a little more serious than a person posting an opinion on YA. It is ridiculous to tell the person who asked the question not to make the same mistake Murtha made. His voice is a little louder in this country than Miss Kitty's.

Of course he won't...liberals do not accept personal accountability or loyalty as a positive attribute. Further disgusting is the support and rationalizing of the actions and statements of this treasonous trash heap by the left...par for the course.

John Murtha has a bronze star and two purple hearts in his arsenal!
At least he knows something of which he speaks!
The trial has not yet concluded.
War doesn't bring out the best in people.
That's just a fact!
Collateral damage has occured in every war ever fought!
The difference of collateral damage vs murder comes into play in regard to recklessness.
If soldiers are blatantly killing civilians don't you think they should be made to answer for that?
I do!

Time magazine featured this story - taking the cherry picked video and the word of the terrorists over the American soldiers.
I expect this sort of BS from the likes of Murtha, but I was a little angered when it came from TIME - not a liberal mouth piece? Yeah, right.

Murtha saw combat in Viet Nam and as veteran knows that things happen in war, soldiers go crazy and kill, it happens in every conflict more often then we would like to think. many times as well if they are tried it's hard to convict due to politics, even military issues are a reflection of politics. I'm not saying they were guilty or not, but in an insane situation insanity seems normal
