Maybe someones telling you a funny story about someone, and you have no clue who it is, and then you go, 'hooo..?' and then you realize who it is, and you go, 'haa'. That makes the person a hoohaa!

In Nottingham England, where I am now, if there's a bit of a problem, an argument or something doesn't go right, it's referred to as (and this is Nottingham slang) "itsarightodehoohaa" we don't come up for air in between words.
