My question is- - - did you EVER call her those horrible words AGAIN? I bet you didn't- - - therefore the punishment worked... and no---no one EVER died from getting their mouth washed out with soap---it was a NORMAL punishment back in the 40's 50's and 60's when I was a kid and we NEVER would have called ANYONE something as bad as YOU DID... I would have done the same thing...

I want to know why an 11 yr old is using such foul language first of all! And,cursing is 1 thing, but if any male related to me or not, would get his balls kicked if he ever called me c**t. Thats the most dispicable word ever. Punishment was fine, except she shoulda used a bar of soap.Sorry, but yeah you deserved it

Having one's mouth washed out with soap is a pretty standard punishment for profanity, and you pulled out the big guns with your choice of words. However, it is questionable as to whether or not your sister should have been the one to administer the punishment. It could have been worse though. Dish washing detergent would have been pretty harsh and may have caused vomiting.

If I had cussed like that at 11 I would have gotten that and some. Like my fathers belt across my but about twenty times. If my son caused like that he'd bite down on a bar of soap!

Yes you deserved it and at 11 yrs old you shouldn't have been talking like that anyway, sounds like you were a brat as a kid, hope you learned your lesson.

I don't think you were right to call her that name but she was way out of line putting soap in your mouth. She shouldn't have handed down the discipline. Your parents should have punished her for that.

That punishment did NOT fit the crime. Shame on your sister for using her authority to be rotten to you. There are much better punishments than the ones that make children hate the punisher! You both should have gotten into trouble cause as HER MOTHER I would have told her she had no right to do that to you. That was wrong! But, SO WERE YOU!

If I would have called someone that at 11 (or any age for that matter), my parents would have reacted the same way. Sorry, but I think you had it coming.
