Smile. Unfortunately, you can't make people feel one way or another. But one thing is true: learn to love and respect yourself, and others will do the same. Good luck!

Your statement "I love you" is very confusing because people can attach so many different meanings and hidden meanings to those 3 simple words.
I know when my wife or son say "I love you" that there is a very close and special bond in place that nobody else is able to replace and those 3 words tell of that bond.
If my banker or lawyer were to tell me those 3 words, I'd probably wonder what it is they wanted from me.
So your question is surprisingly complex because it depends on the context as well as the situation in which you speak it!

Be yourself, show me your interested, make me smile, laugh with me, have a good sense of humor, love yourself as well, treat me as well as I would treat you.
