First of all, i've heard this a billion times and believe me, no one took there own life because i left, they are just saying this to keep you holding on, they must really care about you deeply,,,as for what to do, that is your choice, if you really love them then you hold them tight but if you really feel like you need to let go of them, then you move on and sooner or later they'll realize they can live without you, hardley ever does someone take there own life because of someone unless they have deep mental promblems.....

Ever see, THE MECHANIC starring Chalres Bronson? It is possible to say no to someone who is threatening suicide, and in some cases it is appropriate, but know that there may be a price to be paid. Be sure you can pay it or just call the nut squad on them.

I`m not sure what I would do. I sure wouldn`t let the person manipulate me in such a way. I`d try to find a solution, but I wouldn`t put myself down like that.

I would be disgusted if someone threatened suicide as a means to keep me.

That would make me sick. Really sick, and I would recommend mental help.

Right before I walked the funk out.

Sort of been there years ago.................sad sad sad! He told me he was going to commit suicide and I told him to come get my gun instead of driving his car into the lake. I didn't take him serious.. He was on drugs! No, he didn't die.

I'd tell them to ease up... that's the main reason you can't have me because you're too psycho.
